Leather Care Recommendations

Leather is a natural material that is sensitive to the effects of the elements. (although some like the stains and wear to give it that extra personal touch (like me). To keep your leather product in good condition and prevent the color from fading, we recommend protecting it from extended exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight. In the event of contact with water, it should be dried promptly with a clean, soft and smooth cloth. To maintain its natural softness, we recommend treating your leather product with a neutral leather care product. We condition and finish all of our products with Our in house small batch made Leather Balm (can be found on our online store soon) it only has 3 ingredients in it Natural Coco Butter, Natural Beeswax and Natural Almond Oil in it to help make the products water resistant and condition the leather naturally. However being a natural product this does not last forever so if you so choose you can treat is with a conditioner. Personally I do not continuously condition my personal use leather because with continuous use the oils from your skin help soften and condition the leather naturally and give it that patina unique to the user.
